The deal is only $15 to upgrade your machine and $40 for anyone with a windows machine regardless of when you have purchased it. The deal gets you one copy of windows 8 pro. The deal has sparked remarks concerning Microsoft wants people to get to windows 8 and off of windows machines with windows xp, vista and 7.
